Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gökberk Oğuzalp took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hrafn Sindrason recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gökçe Revnak charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gökçe Revnak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, Gökçe Revnak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hrafn Sindrason's late challenge caught a Malatyaspor JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hrafn Sindrason helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Soldis Hrísey getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Hrafn Sindrason hit a great ball. Şadi Kerim might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltasar Hróason. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şadi Kerim ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Soldis Hrísey's Hámundur Sólbergsson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Şadi Kerim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Baltasar Hróason tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bjarnlaugur Ólason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Malatyaspor JK's Arif Egemen Kavi got a free kick in the 24th minute. Hámundur Sólbergsson didn't quite understand what happened when in the 26 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Malatyaspor JK's Cevdet Baykurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjarnlaugur Ólason in the 27th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Malatyaspor JK got a freekick which was hit by Cebrail Yeğin. With an all-out effort, Soldis Hrísey's Cevdet Baykurt threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bjarnlaugur Ólason, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 33rd minute, Soldis Hrísey's Bjarnlaugur Ólason ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cevdet Baykurt. Cevdet Baykurt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Bjarnlaugur Ólason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cevdet Baykurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Bjarnlaugur Ólason got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bjarnlaugur Ólason to make the kick off. If Bjarnlaugur Ólason had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gökberk Oğuzalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soldis Hrísey's Baltasar Hróason was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Hrafn Sindrason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soldis Hrísey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hrafn Sindrason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gökberk Oğuzalp struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Baltasar Hróason didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malatyaspor JK. In the 66th minute Bjarnlaugur Ólason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cevdet Baykurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Hrafn Sindrason had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cevdet Baykurt. Malatyaspor JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hrafn Sindrason was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Bjarnlaugur Ólason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Hámundur Sólbergsson went to the cornerflag to take it. 83 minutes into the game, Soldis Hrísey's Hrafn Sindrason nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cevdet Baykurt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Şadi Kerim scored 3-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltasar Hróason, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Malatyaspor JK's goal looked a bit too open when Bjarnlaugur Ólason came free, but Cevdet Baykurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cevdet Baykurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hrafn Sindrason, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Soldis Hrísey fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malatyaspor JK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
