In the 4th minute of the match Charmander City got a corner. TALLERES DE CBA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ubaldo Benitez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Charmander City were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after TALLERES DE CBA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ubaldo Benitez took the corner. The corner led Charmander City's Ubaldo Benitez to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugo Tavio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Lucio Eduino notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of TALLERES DE CBA's Hugo Tavio. Hugo Tavio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robustiano Olivar, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubaldo Benitez got free with Hugo Tavio in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergio Senon hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Ubaldo Benitez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of TALLERES DE CBA booed when Charmander City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Guaberto Calisto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Tavio. TALLERES DE CBA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guaberto Calisto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Ubaldo Benitez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Tavio stood somewhat misplaced when Lucio Eduino came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Cordarrel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ubaldo Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Charmander City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Benitez to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Tavio came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Charmander City's Leandro Pereyra. But to his dismay, Leandro Pereyra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Hugo Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Eduino, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Hugo Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Eduino in the 78th minute of play. After 79 played minutes TALLERES DE CBA got a freekick which was hit by Denis Tuste. Leandro Pereyra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Aldo Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Erlantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of TALLERES DE CBA booed when Charmander City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Pablo Koldobika could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Alberto Erlantz however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Eduino in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Tavio saved TALLERES DE CBA from getting behind.

For all the effort they put into the match, the TALLERES DE CBA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Charmander City.
