The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Guilherme da Silva during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 5 minutes into the game, one of Mochila FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Cascade Park West. Dexter Benton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ramón Veiga. 0-1. In the 10th minute, Waldo Renteria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Pedro Mangueira charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Pedro Mangueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 11 minutes into the game, one of Mochila FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ramón Veiga went to the wrong direction when Dexter Benton was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Dario Wilhelm made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Alberto Sergipano sent off a good shot on target. After 18 minutes of play, Cascade Park West's Amir Lee made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramón Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the game, Waldo Renteria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ramón Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 23 minutes, Waldo Renteria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascade Park West's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldo Renteria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes in the game, Waldo Renteria dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Amir Lee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ramón Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cascade Park West getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Rolland Hobbs hit a great ball. Ramón Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amir Lee, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 40 minutes of play, Cascade Park West's Amir Lee made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramón Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute Amir Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waldo Renteria was the one to do the kick off. Waldo Renteria's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ramón Veiga firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ramón Veiga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amir Lee's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Amir Lee took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Ramón Veiga to make any attempt to save it. Piotr Brzakala kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Alberto Sergipano fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mochila FC's protests and gave Alberto Sergipano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mochila FC's goalkeeper Ramón Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Waldo Renteria took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramón Veiga. Ramón Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. In the 74th minute Waldo Renteria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mochila FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Amir Lee 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-11. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Campidelis in the 84th minute of play. Tomé França hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Luciano Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mochila FC! Ramón Veiga made an important save on a dangerous shot by 王沙谦 in the 91st minute. Ramón Veiga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amir Lee showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 92 minute of play. If Amir Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 97 minutes into the match, 王沙谦 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramón Veiga. Mochila FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 王沙谦 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-14.
