In the 13th minute Amir Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Luca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Ferdinand Luca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Lee in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Geleberto in the 18th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Alfredo Geleberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cascade Park West defense, Alfredo Geleberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Wilhelm. The Cascade Park West fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Wilhelm should have stopped the shot. Dario Wilhelm came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Alfredo Geleberto. But to his dismay, Alfredo Geleberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Rolland Hobbs got in the 35th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ferdinand Luca handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Donato Lehen's late challenge caught a Cascade Park West's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Lehen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Donato Lehen hit a great ball. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Geleberto in the 41st minute of the match. When Claude Joyner came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cascade Park West fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claude Joyner couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Alfredo Geleberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Geleberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 minutes of play, Cascade Park West's Amir Lee made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
