Alberto Sergipano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils Øvstebø having to make a save. 7 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Bertolini came free, but Tostão Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mochila FC's Benjamin Pinho got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Domenico Bertolini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Enrico Fava put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tostão Varela. Tomé França's late challenge caught a PomeziaRamblers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé França helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Tomé França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Domenico Bertolini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domenico Bertolini's late challenge caught a Mochila FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domenico Bertolini helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Domenico Bertolini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enrico Fava recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, PomeziaRamblers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Petrella to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Enrico Fava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Mochila FC defense, Enrico Fava kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tostão Varela. The Mochila FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tostão Varela should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Bertolini came free, but Tostão Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Pinho hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Enrico Fava managed to get in a good position for a shot. PomeziaRamblers's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrico Fava was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tostão Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrico Fava to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Mochila FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Rosado to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Enrico Fava made a precise shot to the right of Tostão Varela. Mochila FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Mochila FC's Tostão Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Mochila FC from getting a goal against them. In the 77thth minute of the game Enrico Fava who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mochila FC's Tostão Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's goalkeeper Tostão Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domenico Bertolini. A collision led to Mochila FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Marcelo Rosado hit a great ball. Domenico Bertolini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Tostão Varela made a huge save. Domenico Bertolini struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Tostão Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PomeziaRamblers. PomeziaRamblers played a much better game than Mochila FC and deserved their victory. The Mochila FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
