With an all-out effort, KS Luxik Ruda Śląska's Boguslaw Siwek threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stanislaw Kolbe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Carlos Carnicero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Boguslaw Siwek made a huge save. The KS Luxik Ruda Śląska manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Powiśle Warszawa to win.
