Frederico Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nemesio Sol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederico Madureira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Gilbert Godefroid who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Frederico Madureira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Gilbert Godefroid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 34 minutes into the match, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Gilbert Godefroid sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico Madureira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulises Fernanco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferdinand Luca. That made the score 5-1 in the 97 minute of play. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
