Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Florian Capasso started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Capasso in the 5th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goalkeeper Peter Steele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walmyr Novaes in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peter Steele saved PALMEIRAS-UTAH from getting behind. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alo铆sio Lima in the 13th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match PALMEIRAS-UTAH got a corner. Merusca F&P's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reyes Boyle ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goalkeeper Peter Steele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Merusca F&P were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after PALMEIRAS-UTAH's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Walmyr Novaes took the corner. After 32 minutes PALMEIRAS-UTAH's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walmyr Novaes who took care of the corner kick. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind PALMEIRAS-UTAH's goalkeeper Peter Steele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mauro-Facundo Buffon was a little too slow when Alo铆sio Lima got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-0. Merusca F&P's Mauro-Facundo Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Merusca F&P from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the game, Alo铆sio Lima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mauro-Facundo Buffon. Alo铆sio Lima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Peter Steele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Capasso in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alo铆sio Lima in the 52nd minute of play. Florian Capasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Steele made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmyr Novaes in the 60th minute. Peter Steele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PALMEIRAS-UTAH made a substitution. Bailey Kerns replaced Alexandru Eugen. Merusca F&P's Marcinho Sab贸ia was substituted for Fumanchu Ponta. The supporters of Merusca F&P booed when PALMEIRAS-UTAH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Backlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alo铆sio Lima in the 82nd minute of play forced Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes, Fellipe Capixaba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merusca F&P and the PALMEIRAS-UTAH players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Fellipe Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bailey Kerns in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P's Fellipe Capixaba got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Bailey Kerns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joachim Backlund's late challenge caught a Merusca F&P's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joachim Backlund helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PALMEIRAS-UTAH's Joachim Backlund got a free kick in the 95th minute. PALMEIRAS-UTAH's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
