The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Fritz in the 6th minute of play forced U21 Moldova's goalkeeper Dragos Enicov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Francisco Antonio Landaeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, U21 Moldova's goal looked a bit too open when Cristopher Damian came free, but Dragos Enicov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Huilipan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Musteatã in the 14th minute of play. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Maxim Tâbârnã with Mircea Bivol as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Rodrigo Huilipan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Musteatã in the 80th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Emil Scobioalã left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Moldova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Rodrigo Huilipan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Castravet in the 89th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. U21 Moldova had won after a very even match.
