In the 8th match minute, SLB TELHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Santos to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match Suprs Academia got a corner. SLB TELHA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. António Silva ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Suprs Academia's António Silva to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Leiria despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jacek Ptaszek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Vilaça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Leiria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wang Jun Xi in the 25th minute of the match. Bernardo Leiria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wang Jun Xi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Valério Vilaça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacek Ptaszek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Giancarlo Furlan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Valério Vilaça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacek Ptaszek was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. SLB TELHA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valério Vilaça was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Luís Ribas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SLB TELHA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suprs Academia the free kick. A collision led to SLB TELHA getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Luís Ribas hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Amílcar Leiria made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Suprs Academia booed when SLB TELHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Rebocho didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, SLB TELHA's Bernardo Leiria got control of the ball when Amílcar Leiria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amílcar Leiria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Bernardo Leiria made a huge save. Tiago Rebocho hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Wang Jun Xi kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Suprs Academia were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after SLB TELHA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. António Silva took the corner. In the 86thth minute of the game Wang Jun Xi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SLB TELHA's Bernardo Leiria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wang Jun Xi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bernardo Leiria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wiliam Queiroz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 96th playminute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Suprs Academia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
