If Vedat Burçhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacinto Ávila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vedat Burçhan's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Kevin Perandis in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Campus Douro Academy's Álvaro Machado. Álvaro Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto Ávila having to make a save. Jacinto Ávila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vedat Burçhan in the 21st minute of the match. Jacinto Ávila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vedat Burçhan in the 25th minute of play. Jacinto Ávila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vedat Burçhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Castilho to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Usman Sukardi in the 55th minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Eliseu Bragança to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Usman Sukardi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseu Bragança was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Campus Douro Academy's attentive Álvaro Machado managed to snatch the ball when Kevin Perandis made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Jacinto Ávila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vedat Burçhan's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Vedat Burçhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Ávila having to interfere. Campus Douro Academy's Rodolfo Linhares was substituted for Pankracy Gozdowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Usman Sukardi in the 78th minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Eliseu Bragança to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Campus Douro Academy's Vedat Burçhan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Campus Douro Academy's Alfredo Lemos was substituted for Amadeu Seabra.
