In the 4th minute Rodrigo Castilho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Sanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato Augusto in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto Ávila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lei Feng Yan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jacinto Ávila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Ávila made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Renato Augusto sent off a good shot on target. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Coelho FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lei Feng Yan took the corner. After taking down the ball on S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's corner Lei Feng Yan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacinto Ávila quite easily take care of the ball. Renato Augusto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jacinto Ávila made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Augusto in the 17th minute of play forced Coelho FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Ávila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coelho FC's Jacinto Ávila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Siekkötter in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Esen Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Castilho in the 29th minute of the match. If Ricardinho de Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Renato Augusto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jacinto Ávila made a huge save. With a little luck, Coelho FC's Jacinto Ávila got control of the ball when Renato Augusto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Coelho FC's Jacinto Ávila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Coelho FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renato Augusto in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Ávila saved Coelho FC from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Esen Sanal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hipólito Pimentel. After a rather tough play, Coelho FC's Amílcar Miranda got a free kick in the 61st minute. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Renato Augusto got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esen Sanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Raebert in the 66th minute of the match. In the 74th minute S.E.R. Caxias do Sul were awarded a corner. Lei Feng Yan went to the cornerflag to take it. Amílcar Miranda tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jacinto Ávila. Coelho FC's Jacinto Ávila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Augusto in the 82nd minute of play. After 86 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Krisztián Véber. A collision led to Coelho FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Usman Sukardi hit a great ball.
