It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 15th minute, but Jacinto Ávila got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Coelho FC hanging dry this time. Angelo Pessoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Ávila having to interfere. AM United's David Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Castilho in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Angelo Pessoa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 27 minutes, Rodrigo Castilho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coelho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Castilho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute Herminio Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abílio Trindade charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abílio Trindade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Coelho FC's Abílio Trindade got a free kick in the 30th minute. Coelho FC's Jacinto Ávila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Coelho FC from getting a goal against them. David Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Castilho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Pessoa to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Ávila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Pessoa in the 55th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Coelho FC defense, Teodoro Freire kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Ávila. The Coelho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Ávila should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute Teodoro Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Ávila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Teodoro Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AM United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Coelho FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Abílio Trindade hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Angelo Pessoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jacinto Ávila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Pessoa in the 89th minute of play forced Coelho FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Ávila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Raebert hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Angelo Pessoa struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jacinto Ávila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AM United. After a rather tough play, Coelho FC's Almiro Guimarães got a free kick in the 94th minute. Coelho FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
