The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Moisés Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Castilho, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Moisés Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Castilho in the 44th minute of the match.

Coelho FC's Jacinto Ávila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Brysz in the 51st minute of play. Jacinto Ávila came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Poetass FC's Jon-Egil Schjelderup. But to his dismay, Jon-Egil Schjelderup quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Carneiro in the 62nd minute of play forced Coelho FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Ávila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poetass FC made a substitution. Váldson Miranda replaced Cleiton Carioca. Poetass FC's Celsinho Montenegro was substituted for Cássio Maia. In the 72nd minute, Witalis Brysz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Raebert got free with Moisés Arruda in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herminio Raebert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Moisés Arruda made a huge save. Zachariasz Rzentkowski hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, Coelho FC's Herminio Raebert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moisés Arruda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Jacinto Ávila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Brysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Poetass FC's Moisés Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Poetass FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when Coelho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Celsinho Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poetass FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celsinho Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Kalle Billberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poetass FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kalle Billberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Ávila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
