The Avantchê fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto do Valle should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Avantchê booed when Social Anarquia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vágner Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Camus might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto do Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert Camus ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Avantchê's zone, Charles Darwin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto do Valle came out of the goal and Charles Darwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Avantchê was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Dejean to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Douglas Cardoso notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Social Anarquia F.C.'s Erivaldo Catarinense. Erivaldo Catarinense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fausto do Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Camus in the 71st minute. Marcelo Dejean got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Avantchê getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. If Charles Darwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Camus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Fausto do Valle made a huge save. Avantchê's Fausto do Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Avantchê from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd match minute, Avantchê was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Avantchê players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
