Corumbaense F.C.'s Luís Eduardo dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Martins in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Lorenzo Mendebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute, Ruy Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Eduardo dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Paraibano in the 8th minute of the match. After 9 minutes of play, Marquês de Herval's Nestor Paraibano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Eduardo dos Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Corumbaense F.C.'s Tiago Gabriel Cearense got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Gaston Gonzalez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Paraibano got free with Luís Eduardo dos Santos in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corumbaense F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ruy Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida Taffarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute Alfredo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Cano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Martins came free, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dida Taffarel came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Corumbaense F.C.'s Ruy Mota. But to his dismay, Ruy Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.

The wind increased when Fred Ferreira made the kick off in the second half. Luís Eduardo dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Paraibano in the 55th minute of the match. Luís Eduardo dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Luís Eduardo dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Paraibano in the 61st minute of play. After 64 played minutes Corumbaense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tommi Toivonen. Tommi Toivonen hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Alfredo Martins scored 4-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Eduardo dos Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Eduardo dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Paraibano in the 73rd minute of the match. Luís Eduardo dos Santos came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Marquês de Herval's Alfredo Martins. But to his dismay, Alfredo Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 79th minute, Marquês de Herval's Gao Xiang Guang seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gao Xiang Guang the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Marquês de Herval protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gao Xiang Guang had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gao Xiang Guang hit a great ball. In the 81st match minute, Marquês de Herval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gao Xiang Guang to maneuver through the defense. After 88 played minutes Corumbaense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel do Valle. After a defensive mix-up in Corumbaense F.C.'s zone, Nestor Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Eduardo dos Santos came out of the goal and Nestor Paraibano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Eduardo dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Cano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marquês de Herval were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Corumbaense F.C. for a fine match.
