Reinaldo Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Corrêa having to interfere. The supporters of Guarani MZC booed when ROSÁRIO SPORT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Geovanni Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Andrejević took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Dracena. Carlos Dracena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sten Andrejević in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Dracena saved Guarani MZC from getting behind. After 75 played minutes Guarani MZC got a freekick which was hit by Paulão Varela. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Nildo da Silveira was substituted for Sigvard Rosendal. A collision led to Guarani MZC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Paulão Varela hit a great ball. Carlos Dracena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ROSÁRIO SPORT walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
