Avantchê's Fausto do Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Avantchê from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adriano Abraão in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Custódio saved Leões do Sul 53 from getting behind. A collision led to Avantchê getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. José Catarinense hit a great ball. If Christiano Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto do Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christiano Barreto in the 24th minute. Douglas Cardoso really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Leões do Sul 53's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Rony Rüşti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto do Valle having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Pernambucano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leandro Custódio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luiz Fernando Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Leandro Custódio made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Leões do Sul 53's Toninho Gonçalves got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute Tuncer Bicanoğlu managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
