Lorenzo Beckman made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Todd Gronow sent off a good shot on target. Ildefonso Foro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Beckman having to make a save. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when Dragons AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Lico didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Todd Gronow made a kick off. If Jo-Wilfried Schouten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Abelardo Janpier successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's zone, Jo-Wilfried Schouten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Janpier came out of the goal and Jo-Wilfried Schouten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when Dragons AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Dragons AFC defense, Todd Gronow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo Beckman. The Dragons AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Beckman should have stopped the shot. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC made a substitution. Andreas Harlén replaced Zula Turek. A collision led to Dragons AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Natalio Eneto hit a great ball. Dragons AFC's Lorenzo Beckman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Foro in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Gronow in the 81st minute of play forced Dragons AFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Beckman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Martin Justin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dragons AFC's Donato Barbosa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 84 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jo-Wilfried Schouten. 90 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lorenzo Beckman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dragons AFC's Jo-Wilfried Schouten got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
