After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Todd Gronow made a kick off. Melquiades Lico kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, Dragons AFC's Lorenzo Beckman got control of the ball when Todd Gronow tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jo-Wilfried Schouten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Janpier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Lorenzo Beckman was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Todd Gronow capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Todd Gronow really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Hipolito Nafarroa was substituted for Inaki Mirabal. If Justino Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Todd Gronow sped through Dragons AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lorenzo Beckman. Dragons AFC made a substitution. Prime Hock replaced Jo-Wilfried Schouten. 81 minutes into the game, Todd Gronow recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lorenzo Beckman. Todd Gronow showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Lorenzo Beckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Foro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Dragons AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fausto Agüero took the corner. If Todd Gronow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Dragons AFC's zone, Todd Gronow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Beckman came out of the goal and Todd Gronow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
