In the 26th minute Valdomiro Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Olsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Olsman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zigmantas Gimbutas to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, SC Braga's Antonio Adán got control of the ball when Oséas Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, Nicolas de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oséas Mendonça was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Olsman was a little too slow when Zigmantas Gimbutas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-1. Raining Blood made a substitution. Christian Pelliccioni replaced Lautaro Martinez. Zigmantas Gimbutas struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. André Olsman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Braga. SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson was substituted for Zigmantas Gimbutas. Antonio Adán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Pelliccioni in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Raining Blood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Pelliccioni to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
