Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Moisés Matorin got a free kick in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela got control of the ball when Luiz Eduardo Tróia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute Paulo Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Allan Varela made a huge save. 22 minutes into the game, Luiz Eduardo Tróia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Allan Varela. Luiz Eduardo Tróia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 25th minute, Alexandre Thanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caskinha Sport Clube's Leandro Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Godoi in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hudson Sergipano in the 29th minute of play forced Caskinha Sport Clube's goalkeeper Leandro Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Varela was a little too slow when Luiz Eduardo Tróia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-0. Luiz Eduardo Tróia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Varela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Leandro Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Godoi in the 37th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Thanos. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Caskinha Sport Clube made a substitution. Olavo Terra replaced Gernando Cardozo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Godoi made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Alexandre Thanos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palestra do Interior and the Caskinha Sport Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alexandre Thanos hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the game Afonso Barreto made a throw-in which Luiz Eduardo Tróia played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 58th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Neves came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi. But to his dismay, Paulo Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Palestra do Interior's 吴洲坚 was substituted for Moisés Matorin. Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago was substituted for Paulo Godoi. Caskinha Sport Clube made a substitution. Iván Zamorano replaced Luiz Eduardo Tróia. Caskinha Sport Clube made a substitution. Francesco Maiorano replaced Thor Vennerdal. In the 70th minute of the game Alexandre Thanos made a throw-in which Vitório Lago played forward. Boyisana Mnisi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Alfredão Mazza missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 77 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Allan Varela right hand side. Leandro Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Lago in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Alexandre Thanos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Caskinha Sport Clube's Olavo Terra quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Hudson Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Palestra do Interior's 吴洲坚 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Eduardo da Rocha hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Palestra do Interior's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
