Alfredão Mazza ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Afonso Barreto advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 11th minute. The throw-in from Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Raining Blood's Remo Goiano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Vale in the 31st minute of play forced Caskinha Sport Clube's goalkeeper Leandro Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raining Blood made a substitution. Christian Pelliccioni replaced Nicolas de Andrade. Leandro Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Caskinha Sport Clube's Luiz Eduardo Tróia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Olsman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caskinha Sport Clube's Leandro Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Caskinha Sport Clube from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Raining Blood defense, Luiz Eduardo Tróia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Olsman. The Raining Blood fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Olsman should have stopped the shot. André Olsman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Martinez got free with Leandro Neves in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leandro Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Alberto Torres in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Iván Zamorano notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Raining Blood's André Olsman. André Olsman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
