Thanks to some nice moves Hamilton Fontoura could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Yakov Zaitsev however easily saved by the left post. Angelo Marques hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 19 minutes of play, SC Sabugueiro's Adriano Amado made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yakov Zaitsev was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 23 minutes of play, SC Sabugueiro's Hamilton Fontoura made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yakov Zaitsev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yakov Zaitsev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Amado in the 27th minute. If Lev Kovtun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noel Gaspar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yakov Zaitsev came out and tried to block the shot, but Noel Gaspar slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute Adriano Amado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakov Zaitsev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yakov Zaitsev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Amado, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lev Kovtun was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergey Kochar during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sergey Kochar kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Yakov Zaitsev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Amado in the 58th minute of play. Lev Kovtun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adélio Vaz having to interfere. Adélio Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikhail Afanasenko in the 62nd minute. Yakov Zaitsev came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Sabugueiro's Hamilton Fontoura. But to his dismay, Hamilton Fontoura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Pskov's Yakov Zaitsev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimas Calheiros in the 71st minute of play. Yakov Zaitsev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimas Calheiros in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Pskov got a freekick which was hit by Oleg Ushakov. Lev Kovtun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Adélio Vaz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lev Kovtun in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adélio Vaz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dimas Calheiros charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dimas Calheiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Sabugueiro getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Dimas Calheiros hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Adriano Amado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yakov Zaitsev was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. If Lev Kovtun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dimas Calheiros was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. After 87 played minutes SC Sabugueiro got a freekick which was hit by Dimas Calheiros. After a defensive mix-up in SC Sabugueiro's zone, Lev Kovtun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adélio Vaz came out of the goal and Lev Kovtun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
