Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Kurt Bjursell came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Vetlanda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Bjursell couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Grönberg in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaroslav Dopita saved Havířov from getting behind. Kurt Bjursell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jaroslav Dopita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Vetlanda's goalkeeper Jörgen Söderström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Snášel. Liboslav Převrátil's late challenge caught a Vetlanda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liboslav Převrátil helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vetlanda getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jan-Erik Sandberg hit a great ball. If Kurt Bjursell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. František Lahoda hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Havířov's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Bjursell came free, but Jaroslav Dopita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Michael Grönberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vetlanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Grönberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After some careless play in the Vetlanda defense, Marian Snášel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jörgen Söderström. The Vetlanda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jörgen Söderström should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stanislav Hais stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Michael Grönberg made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Havířov's Jaroslav Dopita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Stanislav Hais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Söderström having to interfere. In the 58thth minute of the game Kurt Bjursell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Havířov's Jaroslav Dopita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaroslav Dopita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Bjursell in the 60th minute of play. Marian Snášel took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörgen Söderström. Jörgen Söderström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Jaroslav Dopita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Bjursell in the 74th minute of play. Kurt Bjursell might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaroslav Dopita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Bjursell ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Havířov's Pavel Třetina got a free kick in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Havířov's zone, Michael Grönberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaroslav Dopita came out of the goal and Michael Grönberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, František Lahoda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Havířov's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
