Sandrinho Matorin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Meriç Vecid's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Müfit Malkoçoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edmundo Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, Yamlarspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Ali Aydınalp to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chiquinho Palmeira during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Matador EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Müfit Malkoçoğlu struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Sandrinho Matorin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yamlarspor. If Edmundo Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Tião Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tião Sá took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cihat Evvah. Cihat Evvah dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Edmundo Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Meriç Vecid made a kick off. Chiquinho Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yamlarspor's Meriç Vecid got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Meriç Vecid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Matador EC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo de Queirós. In the 65th minute, Müfit Malkoçoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, İbrahim Efe Canal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Yamlarspor's zone, Edmundo Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cihat Evvah came out of the goal and Edmundo Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Matador EC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Arnaldo de Queirós hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Matador EC's goal looked a bit too open when Meriç Vecid came free, but Sandrinho Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tião Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cihat Evvah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tião Sá in the 88th minute of play. Sandrinho Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meriç Vecid in the 90th minute of the match.
