Antonio Marcolongo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Jörgen Söderström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Bestagno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Grönberg came free, but Alfredo Scivittaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute of the match Vetlanda got a corner. Bestagno FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcus Danielsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jan-Erik Sandberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfredo Scivittaro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vetlanda's Jörgen Söderström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Vetlanda from getting a goal against them. Bestagno FC's Florian Sammartano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 46th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jörgen Söderström but with some difficulty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Antonio Marcolongo made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlo Caruso during the 53rd minute. Florian Sammartano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jörgen Söderström. Vetlanda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bestagno FC's Alfredo Scivittaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Bestagno FC from getting a goal against them. Alfredo Scivittaro made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Michael Grönberg sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 83 minutes, Kurt Bjursell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vetlanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Bjursell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Marcolongo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Vetlanda's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Marcolongo came free, but Jörgen Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Bjursell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Scivittaro having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
