Potrero's Mateusz Marajda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inocencio Veronica narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Eloy Gipuzkoa fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rafaela FC's protests and gave Eloy Gipuzkoa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rafaela FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateusz Marajda got free with Inocencio Veronica in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emil Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Borowski in the 62nd minute of play. C. A. Rafaela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
