Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Higinio Romano got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Yetkiner Yasun could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Virgilio Rocendo however easily saved by the left post. Virgilio Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Aelgoet in the 7th minute of play. FC Lutanu's Yetkiner Yasun was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Saturnino Porfirio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Per-Olof Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Volvio Moreno's Niceto Erruki got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute of the match Volvio Moreno got a corner. FC Lutanu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Higinio Romano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of FC Lutanu booed when Volvio Moreno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Bras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Olof Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Romano, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Per-Olof Berglund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Romano's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Iulian Iancu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Higinio Romano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Olof Berglund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Virgil Goșa lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. FC Lutanu:s Per-Olof Berglund showed great skill when he stopped Higinio Romano:s penalty. Per-Olof Berglund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Romano went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 34 played minutes FC Lutanu got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Bărcăuan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Romano in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Olof Berglund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, Wilfredo Lleir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 played minutes, FC Lutanu's Andrei Joita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgilio Rocendo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Lutanu reached it. In the 48th minute, Higinio Romano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Volvio Moreno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Philip Aelgoet made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Panduru in the 55th minute of play forced Volvio Moreno's goalkeeper Virgilio Rocendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristide Bărcăuan hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 62 played minutes Saturnino Porfirio rounded FC Lutanu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. When Saturnino Porfirio came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Volvio Moreno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Porfirio couldn't finish the play. FC Lutanu's Per-Olof Berglund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lutanu from getting a goal against them. If Niceto Erruki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Olof Berglund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Higinio Romano in the 82nd minute. In the 89th minute, Saturnino Porfirio made a precise shot to the right of Per-Olof Berglund. FC Lutanu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. In the 95th minute, Volvio Moreno's Niceto Erruki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Volvio Moreno's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
