After having played for 10 minutes, Luciano Velloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbie Doll United U23's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Velloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute Radu Cigu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Gigi Bobei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting a goal against them. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Marcu Tudor got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Mihăilescu took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Barral. Orlando Barral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Tudor in the 28th minute of play forced Barbie Doll United U23's goalkeeper Orlando Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radu Cigu took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Barral. Orlando Barral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Barbie Doll United U23's Orlando Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Cigu in the 32nd minute of play. If Luciano Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the game, Claudinei Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barbie Doll United U23's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Barbie Doll United U23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Miranda to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Codruț Macaneață sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orlando Barral skillfully saved the ball. Orlando Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Cigu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrão Arce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gigi Bobei having to make a save.
