Christian Sjödin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fredric Collin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Al-Norr's Christian Waller got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Fredric Collin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christian Sjödin. The goal made the score 2-0. 25 minutes into the game, Samuel Bengtsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christian Sjödin. Samuel Bengtsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. A collision led to Blåränderna getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Bengt-Åke Lidström hit a great ball. Erland Strand got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Stig-Ove Biörkquist. Christian Sjödin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Waller in the 36th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Blåränderna's goalkeeper Christian Sjödin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 42 minutes of play, Al-Norr's Fredric Collin made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Sjödin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Al-Norr's Melker Bark got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Marius Pașcanu scored 4-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egon Sundström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christian Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Nordahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Christian Sjödin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Nordahl's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Christian Sjödin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melker Bark in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Blåränderna's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Waller came free, but Christian Sjödin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Stål hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Stig-Ove Biörkquist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christian Sjödin. Blåränderna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Blåränderna's Christian Sjödin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Waller in the 73rd minute of play. Christian Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute Fredric Collin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Sjödin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Al-Norr's goalkeeper Egon Sundström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arvid Vallman. Christian Sjödin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Collin in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Collin in the 85th minute of play forced Blåränderna's goalkeeper Christian Sjödin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Sjödin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fredric Collin went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. When Fredric Collin came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Al-Norr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredric Collin couldn't finish the play. After 96 played minutes Blåränderna got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Lidström. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Al-Norr had played much better football throughout.
