If Marius Pașcanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blåränderna's Arvid Vallman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Arvid Vallman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Antonio Zerinov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dancho Kastelov made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Blåränderna's Robert Stål. After 22 minutes, Marius Pașcanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blåränderna and the FC Gurbanovtsi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Blåränderna got a freekick which was hit by Marius Pașcanu. Blåränderna's Christian Sjödin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petar Keremidchiyski in the 26th minute of play. 4-0 became the score in the 28th minute when Marius Pașcanu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Stefan Budev's late challenge caught a Blåränderna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Budev helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes FC Gurbanovtsi got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Budev. In the 36th minute, Marius Pașcanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antonio Zerinov. The goal made the score 5-0. 39 minutes into the game, Jerry Vallman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blåränderna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Gurbanovtsi the free kick. After a rather tough play, Blåränderna's Jerry Vallman got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Blåränderna booed when FC Gurbanovtsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yoncho Evgeniev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerry Vallman was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The throw-in from Yoncho Evgeniev in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Blåränderna's Robert Stål. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marius Pașcanu was the one to do the kick off. Antonio Zerinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Pașcanu in the 51st minute of play. Marius Pașcanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Marius Pașcanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Zerinov was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Stefan Budev struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Christian Sjödin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Gurbanovtsi. Marius Pașcanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Dancho Kastelov in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Blåränderna's Robert Stål. Petar Keremidchiyski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Zerinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Pașcanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Gurbanovtsi defense, Marius Pașcanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Zerinov. The FC Gurbanovtsi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Zerinov should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the game, Dancho Kastelov threw the ball into play from the sideline. Blåränderna's Tommy Heggert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Blåränderna's Tommy Heggert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dancho Kastelov in the 92 minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Tommy Heggert sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Gurbanovtsi's Antonio Zerinov didn't even have to move.
