An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Aanicăi in the 25th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Wesley Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley Meira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cafu Pires hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Laerte Sergipano hit a great ball. Wesley Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Aanicăi in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 51st minute Sandrinho Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Pască saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Maverick Futebol Clube's Wesley Meira got control of the ball when Ivan Aanicăi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Raureni Academy defense, Sílvio Luiz Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Pască. The Raureni Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Pască should have stopped the shot. Ivan Aanicăis short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Wesley Meira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 72nd minute Laerte Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Pască saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 74 in the game by Ivan Aanicăi from a close distance when the talented Wesley Meira managed to make a qualified save. Maverick Futebol Clube's players were relieved. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Raureni Academy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
