Gabriel Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriel Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Rudolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caatiba MZC's Gabriel Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Rudolfo in the 10th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Silvano Rudolfo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caatiba MZC's Gabriel Veloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Veloso came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Atlanta's Silvano Rudolfo. But to his dismay, Silvano Rudolfo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 24th minute, Romulo Hever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When C. A. Atlanta's Silvano Rudolfo in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caatiba MZC's goalie prevented a goal. Caatiba MZC's Gabriel Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Carrasqueira in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Silvano Rudolfo made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Caatiba MZC's Gabriel Veloso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hipolito Frasquito scored 0-5 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Veloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Silvano Rudolfo sped through Caatiba MZC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gabriel Veloso. Gabriel Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Rudolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half C. A. Atlanta were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eusébio Matorin made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, C. A. Atlanta's Hipolito Frasquito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Veloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Benedito Domingues scored 1-8 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Guimarães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as C. A. Atlanta's Silvano Rudolfo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gabriel Veloso. That made the score 1-9 after 65 minutes of play. 68 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Rudolfo came free, but Gabriel Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70thth minute of the game Eusébio Matorin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvano Rudolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Veloso having to interfere. Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Silvano Rudolfo 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-10. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Gabriel Veloso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gabriel Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Rudolfo in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Benedito Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caatiba MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedito Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 84 minutes, Eusébio Matorin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caatiba MZC and the C. A. Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Rudolfo in the 86th minute of play forced Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Gabriel Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Rudolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Caatiba MZC's Gabriel Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Rudolfo in the 95th minute of play. C. A. Atlanta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
