Orlando Urquijo started the match with the kick off. Eduardo Colon scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blanco Maige, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 8th minute Filomeno Arteche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Orlando Urquijo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blanco Maige showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Viator, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Baez FC's Blanco Maige played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Ubarna in the 15th minute of play. If Orlando Urquijo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Urquijos short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Ruben Goito to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ruben Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Arteche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Everardo Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blanco Maige saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Filomeno Arteche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Goito. Lugano 1 y 2's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filomeno Arteche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Orlando Urquijo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ruben Goito firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 41 minutes, Eduardo Colon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lugano 1 y 2 and the Baez FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Baez FC booed when Lugano 1 y 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Colon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Lugano 1 y 2 defense, Orlando Urquijo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Goito. The Lugano 1 y 2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Goito should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Ubarna made a kick off. With a little luck, Baez FC's Blanco Maige got control of the ball when Eduardo Colon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orlando Urquijo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Natalio Kepa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 65th minute, Eduardo Colon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lugano 1 y 2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. If Benicio Ferreccio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Urquijo in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Goito saved Lugano 1 y 2 from getting behind. Blanco Maige took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Celso Viator fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lugano 1 y 2's protests and gave Celso Viator a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lugano 1 y 2 getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Celso Viator hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lugano 1 y 2's Natalio Kepa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blanco Maige. That made the score 3-3 after 82 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Ubarna in the 85th minute of play forced Baez FC's goalkeeper Blanco Maige to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anier Llorian kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lugano 1 y 2's zone, Orlando Urquijo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Goito came out of the goal and Orlando Urquijo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lugano 1 y 2 getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Guaberto Orain hit a great ball. Benicio Ferreccio struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ruben Goito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baez FC. Baez FC's Blanco Maige played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Colon in the 92nd minute of play. Blanco Maige took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Casanova during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Baez FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Casanova. 98 minutes into the match, Lugano 1 y 2's Eduardo Colon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blanco Maige narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Lugano 1 y 2 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Baez FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
