Damian Jekot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sam Bertholet went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 11th minute, Madjid Botte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Zbyszko Furgal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martial Laude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Damian Jekot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Ripoll in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gwidon Mietus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martial Laude made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Martial Laude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Kalemba in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Zbyszko Furgal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Martial Laude was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thierry Henri scored 2-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Jekot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Les diables noirs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pogoń Stawiszyn were winning 2-4.

After 58 minutes of play, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zbyszko Furgal made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martial Laude was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Les diables noirs's zone, Zbyszko Furgal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martial Laude came out of the goal and Zbyszko Furgal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the game, Igor Kalemba recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martial Laude. Igor Kalemba showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Zbyszko Furgal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogoń Stawiszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Zbyszko Furgal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martial Laude breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martial Laude took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Mietus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute of the match Pogoń Stawiszyn got a corner. Les diables noirs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hieronim Absolwent ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zbyszko Furgal got a free kick in the 71st minute. Damian Jekot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Henri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 played minutes Les diables noirs got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Poly. Borys Pankiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Borys Pankiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Borys Pankiewicz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Pogoń Stawiszyn players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
