Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sam Bertholet made the kick off which started today's match. When Eduard Polozov came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Santo Amaro AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Polozov couldn't finish the play. In the 12th match minute, Les diables noirs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modeste Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Wincent Pawlik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Martial Laude made a huge save. Wincent Pawlik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Martial Laude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Cipriano Hermes made a precise shot to the right of Martial Laude. Les diables noirs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hudson Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Bertholet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hudson Arósio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sam Bertholet went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Thierry Henri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hudson Arósio. Santo Amaro AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thierry Henri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Wincent Pawlik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 played minutes Santo Amaro AC got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe de Alcântara. Hudson Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thierry Henri, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Mario Vauzelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Les diables noirs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Vauzelle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cipriano Hermes took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martial Laude. Martial Laude dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cipriano Hermes made a kick off. Wincent Pawlik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Martial Laude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Les diables noirs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Santo Amaro AC:s goal. Martial Laude had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Serafin Tajo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 55th minute, Serafin Tajo made a precise shot to the right of Martial Laude. Les diables noirs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 58 minutes into the match, Santo Amaro AC's goalkeeper Hudson Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Bertholet. Les diables noirs's Martial Laude played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Hermes in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Les diables noirs's zone, Wincent Pawlik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martial Laude came out of the goal and Wincent Pawlik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 64 played minutes Santo Amaro AC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Hermes. Modeste Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Martial Laude showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wincent Pawlik, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 77 minutes into the match, Les diables noirs's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Polozov came free, but Martial Laude reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match, Thierry Henri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hudson Arósio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Wincent Pawlik sped through Les diables noirs's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martial Laude. Cipriano Hermes struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Martial Laude didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santo Amaro AC. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cipriano Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santo Amaro AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martial Laude breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santo Amaro AC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
