Jan-Erik Tunberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lilcho Arsov having to make a save. When Sakarias Malmgren fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wargön's protests and gave Sakarias Malmgren a yellow card for diving instead. Sakarias Malmgren hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute Boycho Lipev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Ståhlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Levent Osenov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Åke Ståhlman having to interfere. In the 16th minute Sivert Bollström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lilcho Arsov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Wargön's Sivert Bollström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lilcho Arsov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Sivert Bollström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lilcho Arsov was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Sivert Bollström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lilcho Arsov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Lilcho Arsov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Bollström, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Sivert Bollström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lilcho Arsov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sivert Bollström in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Sivert Bollström made a precise shot to the right of Lilcho Arsov. VN Keleler's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 36 played minutes VN Keleler got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Angelov. 44 minutes into the match, Wargön's goal looked a bit too open when Levent Osenov came free, but Jan-Åke Ståhlman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Wargön's Sivert Bollström in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VN Keleler's goalie prevented a goal.
The wind increased when Jan-Erik Tunberg made the kick off in the second half. After 53rd play minutes Sivert Bollström shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Lilcho Arsov and just under the crossbar into goal. Jan-Åke Ståhlman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boycho Lipev went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Wargön booed when VN Keleler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krasimir Choevski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lilcho Arsov was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Sivert Bollström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sivert Bollström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 69th minute, Sivert Bollström made a precise shot to the right of Lilcho Arsov. VN Keleler's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Jan-Erik Tunberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Bengt-Rune Törnkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lilcho Arsov. The goal made the score 1-6. Bengt-Rune Törnkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Törnkvist in the 83rd minute of play forced VN Keleler's goalkeeper Lilcho Arsov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Bengt-Rune Törnkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wargön's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Rune Törnkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt-Rune Törnkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lilcho Arsov having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Törnkvist in the 90th minute of play forced VN Keleler's goalkeeper Lilcho Arsov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lilcho Arsov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Törnkvist in the 92nd minute of play. The Wargön supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wargön would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
