Purcaresti CSS's Ştefan Vârlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino da Costa in the 13th minute of play. Andrézinho Mattos came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Purcaresti CSS's Valeriu Amurăriței. But to his dismay, Valeriu Amurăriței quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Șişman in the 21st minute of play forced Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper Andrézinho Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Cruzeiro FC's Andrézinho Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Negru in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Real Cruzeiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano de Barros to maneuver through the defense. Andrézinho Mattos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Purcaresti CSS's Valer Șişman shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-6 in the ordered_time% minute. After 29 played minutes Real Cruzeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Carneiro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valer Șişman in the 31st managed to get into a good position. In the 34th minute, Ferdinand Petre made a precise shot to the right of Andrézinho Mattos. Real Cruzeiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Valeriu Amurăriței put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Andrézinho Mattos. Andrézinho Mattos came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Purcaresti CSS's Valer Șişman. But to his dismay, Valer Șişman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9.

The wind increased when Severino da Costa made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Șişman came free, but Andrézinho Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ştefan Vârlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino da Costa in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Purcaresti CSS getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Real Cruzeiro FC's Andrézinho Mattos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Real Cruzeiro FC from getting a goal against them.
