Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Opincaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the game, Basarab Zburliş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DINAMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Qikiqtarjuaq FC the free kick. After 15 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Zburliş. Romeo Iovanovici was a little too slow when Michael Owen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Zburliş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxim Fința lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in DINAMO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! With his leg Romeo Iovanovici managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Cyrus Velasco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 27 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Stuart Schmitz. Romeo Iovanovici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Owen in the 34th minute of the match. Cyrus Velasco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Romeo Iovanovici firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 45th minute Ryszard Borcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basarab Zburliş might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Bueno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basarab Zburliş ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyrus Velasco made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Cyrus Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Romeo Iovanovici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Michael Owen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Owen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Iovanovici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the game, Bastien Aldridge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DINAMO the free kick. Bastien Aldridge kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. DINAMO's Romeo Iovanovici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Owen in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Qikiqtarjuaq FC booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryszard Borcz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Bueno made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Dumitru Opincaru sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Cyrus Velasco notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of DINAMO's Romeo Iovanovici. Romeo Iovanovici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in DINAMO's zone, Michael Owen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Iovanovici came out of the goal and Michael Owen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DINAMO's Romeo Iovanovici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Owen in the 86th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Cyrus Velasco put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Romeo Iovanovici. After 95 minutes, Wilton Boyles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Qikiqtarjuaq FC and the DINAMO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
