Pepe Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zarando Cordoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Crispin Klander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pepe Santoro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 47 minutes into the match, Lucas Grijander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pepe Santoro. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Grijander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Solustiano to strike the kick off in the second half. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Zarando Cordoba scored to the left of an out of position Pepe Santoro, making the score, 0-7. After 57 minutes of play, Ciruel Team's Zarando Cordoba made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pepe Santoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Narciso Vergaray kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Sigfrido Soldado sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Pepe Santoro didn't even have to move. After 63 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Vergaray. Zarando Cordoba took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pepe Santoro. Pepe Santoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Zarando Cordoba took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Pepe Santoro to make any attempt to save it. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Lucas Grijander scored to the left of an out of position Pepe Santoro, making the score, 0-11. Pepe Santoro was a little too slow when Zarando Cordoba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-12. Pepe Santoro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Benito Cuadrado. When Ciruel Team's Zarando Cordoba in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th play minute Zarando Cordoba came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pepe Santoro. 0-14. After 90 minutes of play, Ciruel Team's Lucas Grijander made it 0-15 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pepe Santoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pepe Santoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zarando Cordoba in the 97th minute.
