In the 17th minute Martin Rencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Ofelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Cerilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Mateo Sidro made a huge save.

The supporters of Boedo Athletic. booed when Atlético Argentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Leizarraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dionisio Ofelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Quinito in the 57th minute. The referee ignored Atlético Argentino's protests and gave Cleto Paio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Atlético Argentino's Cleto Paio got a free kick in the 58th minute. Dionisio Ofelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Rencio went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute, Feliciano Baleren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Gavino Quinito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dionisio Ofelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6.
