When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Salomon Gonzáles sped through PGE FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Merexildo. Lorenzo Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rogelio Rajoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Dellasierra during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Gaston Cayuela came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ALPUJARRAS LIBRE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Cayuela couldn't finish the play. Xofre Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Rolando Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salomon Gonzáles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salomon Gonzáles in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Merexildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 39 minutes PGE FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Salomon Gonzáles who took care of the corner kick. Xofre Castro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Herminio Abajas in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rolando Merexildo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salomon Gonzáles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50thth minute of the game Salomon Gonzáles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 54 minutes, Salomon Gonzáles made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. PGE FC's Rolando Merexildo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Santiago Dellasierra got a free kick in the 57th minute. Virgilio Gauargi struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rogelio Rajoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PGE FC. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Tomi Abrego was substituted for Zaquiel Colsa. In the 72nd minute, Salomon Gonzáles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, PGE FC's Lorenzo Bonifaco got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 73 minutes into the match, PGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salomon Gonzáles came free, but Rolando Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josepe Puyol in the 90th minute of play. Santiago Dellasierra got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of PGE FC booed when ALPUJARRAS LIBRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Dellasierra didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bartolo Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the PGE FC defense, Josepe Puyol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Merexildo. The PGE FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Merexildo should have stopped the shot.
