Sportivo Ben Hur's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kristian Sanne ran over to the corner to take the kick. Abelardo Cristofor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fridtjof Ferstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Ben Hur's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kristian Sanne was slow to take the kick. During this time Daustad's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Fridtjof Ferstad heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Ted in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Idar Istad saved Daustad from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Arne Hageland put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Abelardo Cristofor. Abelardo Cristofor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fridtjof Ferstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Arne Hageland succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 36th playminute. Arne Hageland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Cristofor having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fridtjof Ferstad in the 47th minute of play forced Sportivo Ben Hur's goalkeeper Abelardo Cristofor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fridtjof Ferstad made a kick off. Martin Stavnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Abelardo Cristofor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Fridtjof Ferstad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Abelardo Cristofor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 64 minutes into the match, Daustad's goalkeeper Idar Istad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Maxin. Sportivo Ben Hur's Abelardo Cristofor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fridtjof Ferstad in the 67th minute of play. Abelardo Cristofor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fridtjof Ferstad's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Daustad's Arne Hageland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abelardo Cristofor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fernando Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Stavnes came free, but Abelardo Cristofor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daustad's Idar Istad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Daustad from getting a goal against them. In the 91st match minute, Sportivo Ben Hur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Fagondo to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Igon's late challenge caught a Daustad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejandro Igon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Alejandro Igon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daustad's Kristian Sanne got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Claudio Mark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Ben Hur's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Daustad the free kick. The supporters of Daustad booed when Sportivo Ben Hur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Mark didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Daustad were the better team. Daustad's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
