When Felipe Lima came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Timmernabben FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Lima couldn't finish the play. Hermengildo Arce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnulfo Lugo went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, C. A. C. A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Lugo came free, but Hermengildo Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Sven-Olof Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-3 became the score in the 34th minute when Arnulfo Lugo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 39 played minutes C. A. C. A. got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Guillelmo. The supporters of C. A. C. A. booed when Timmernabben FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Bengtsson in the 41st minute of the match. After 43 minutes of play, Timmernabben FF's Felipe Lima made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermengildo Arce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidio Nuñez to make the kick off. Nunez Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the game, Nunez Gipuzkoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. C. A.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timmernabben FF the free kick. After a rather tough play, C. A. C. A.'s Nunez Gipuzkoa got a free kick in the 54th minute. Felipe Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Hermengildo Arce was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sven-Olof Bengtsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 57 minute of play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. C. A.'s goalkeeper Hermengildo Arce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Urti during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, C. A. C. A.'s Natalio Urti got a free kick in the 79th minute. Arnulfo Lugo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hermengildo Arce. C. A. C. A.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, C. A. C. A.'s goalkeeper Hermengildo Arce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Olof Bengtsson. A collision led to C. A. C. A. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Iker Bermudo hit a great ball. If Felipe Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, C. A. C. A.'s Humberto Sasoin got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the match was over Timmernabben FF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C. A. C. A. throughout the match.
