In the 23rd minute, Osfinch FC's Andy Carroll ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hermengildo Arce. Hermengildo Arce yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 28 minutes into the game, Stew Brownlow recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hermengildo Arce. Stew Brownlow showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayetano Guillelmo in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Warne saved Osfinch FC from getting behind. After 32 played minutes C. A. C. A. got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Sasoin. If Ovidio Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Arce made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Stew Brownlow sent off a good shot on target. If Micheal Prendergast had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Paul Warne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Guillelmo in the 55th minute of the match. After 62 minutes, Cayetano Guillelmo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. C. A. and the Osfinch FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Osfinch FC booed when C. A. C. A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Guillelmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. C. A.'s Hermengildo Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Carroll in the 66th minute of play. If Micheal Prendergast had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Andy Carroll sped through C. A. C. A.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hermengildo Arce. C. A. C. A.'s Hermengildo Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Carroll in the 81st minute of play. Hermengildo Arce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andy Carroll went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 87th minute Micheal Prendergast shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Carroll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Micheal Prendergast suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Cordario during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, C. A. C. A.'s Rodolfo Cordario got a free kick in the 94th minute. Zeledon Ebardo charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeledon Ebardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th match minute, C. A. C. A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Ebardo to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Osfinch FC had played much better football throughout.
