The supporters of Fågelmara IK booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoine Lovera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Olof Soned could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Cosimo Avesani made a huge save. Cosimo Avesani made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Sven-Olof Soned sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the game, Francesco Firmani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valdieri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fågelmara IK the free kick. Francesco Firmani kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 27th play minute Sven-Olof Soned came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cosimo Avesani. 2-1. Fågelmara IK's Alvin Alström got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosimo Avesani was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Erland Hult capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erland Hult really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Cosimo Avesani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Ekelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute Adrian Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosimo Avesani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Erland Hult reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cosimo Avesani. The goal made the score 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Ekelund to strike the kick off in the second half. Cosimo Avesani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Soned in the 53rd minute of play. Fågelmara IK's Olov Lilja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Fågelmara IK from getting a goal against them. Adrian Ekelund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars-Erik Esbjörnsson hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Anfilogino Di Santo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Soned in the 62nd minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Cosimo Avesani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdieri's Cosimo Avesani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Soned in the 64th minute of play. Adrian Ekelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cosimo Avesani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, one of Valdieri:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cosimo Avesani had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Erland Hult's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Erland Hult kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosimo Avesani. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosimo Avesani should have stopped the shot. After having played for 75 minutes, Aleksander Sjö managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fågelmara IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Sjö was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Adrian Ekelund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosimo Avesani was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. When Fågelmara IK's Aleksander Sjö in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
