The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Michal Wierzchowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Santos in the 10th minute of the match. Michal Wierzchowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes KS Olimpia Warszawa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcos Boldrini who took care of the corner kick. When Marcos Boldrini came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the MarquinhosEC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Boldrini couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Michal Wierzchowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano da Cunha came free, but Michal Wierzchowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Wierzchowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michal Wierzchowski came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by MarquinhosEC's Marcos Boldrini. But to his dismay, Marcos Boldrini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Michal Wierzchowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guto de Toledo went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Iwo Trzaskoma kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MarquinhosEC's Rubinho Valle got a free kick in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the game, Juliusz Bubczyk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS Olimpia Warszawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MarquinhosEC the free kick. Juliusz Bubczyk hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The KS Olimpia Warszawa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MarquinhosEC were winning 0-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Paulo Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jan Kawa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Marcos Boldrini managed to get in a good position for a shot. MarquinhosEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Boldrini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michal Wierzchowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute, MarquinhosEC's Luiz Fabiano da Cunha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 58 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Santos lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Michal Wierzchowski. In the 62nd match minute, KS Olimpia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Kawa to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Boldrini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute Luiz Paulo Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Wierzchowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo Santos came free, but Michal Wierzchowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Wierzchowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano da Cunha in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Guto de Toledo could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Michal Wierzchowski however easily saved by the left post. 79 minutes into the game, Belmiro Paranaense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Michal Wierzchowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jan Kawa kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Marcos Boldrini came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Michal Wierzchowski could save by the left post. When the final whistle sounded MarquinhosEC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KS Olimpia Warszawa.
