Charis Nebegleras's late challenge caught a KS Olimpia Warszawa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charis Nebegleras helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Pagos FC got a freekick which was hit by Charis Nebegleras. Manolis Nikologiannis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, KS Olimpia Warszawa's Zbigniew Boniek got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Gerasimos Maros came free, but Michal Wierzchowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manolis Nikologiannis was the one to do the kick off.
