The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mincho Abadia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mincho Abadia in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Eduardo da Fonseca saved S.C. Corinthians Paulista from getting behind. Luís Eduardo da Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dantae Abajas in the 9th minute. Amancio Abechuco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 played minutes S.C. Corinthians Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Hamílton Mota. The Pepsi Fuchibol Clu fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Eder Abella looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Amancio Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís Eduardo da Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Amancio Abechuco sent off a good shot on target. Luís Eduardo da Fonseca was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Eder Abella capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eder Abella really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Luís Eduardo da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eder Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamílton Mota hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Luís Eduardo da Fonseca was a little too slow when Amancio Abechuco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 5-0. Amancio Abechuco in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luís Eduardo da Fonseca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Motta during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pepsi Fuchibol Clu booed when S.C. Corinthians Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eder Abella in the 40th minute of play forced S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo da Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Eduardo da Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Amancio Abechuco sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gino Rezende to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Eder Abella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Luís Eduardo da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Eder Abella notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Luís Eduardo da Fonseca. Luís Eduardo da Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Eder Abella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Eduardo da Fonseca was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eder Abella in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Eduardo da Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mincho Abadia in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Eduardo da Fonseca saved S.C. Corinthians Paulista from getting behind. Luís Eduardo da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eder Abella in the 81st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Abecia in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Eduardo da Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Abechuco came free, but Luís Eduardo da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Eder Abella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Eduardo da Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
